All natural fire starters are made with pine wood shavings, wax, and a paper liner. These are not candles and will start a fire. For indoor or outdoor use in a fireplace, wood stove, or outdoor pit. No paper needed, just light the paper liner. You only need one starters to start the fire. Place the fire starter between two pieces of wood and then light the paper liner. Carefully place another piece of wood on top and across where the fire starter is. Add more wood as desired once the fire gets going.
